Presentation & Poster Guidelines

Oral Presentation Guidelines

Please note that you will not be required to wear your mask while presenting at the podium. FCMN 2022 will provide a sanitizing kit at the podium (sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing spray) for your use in between each speaker. Please be sure to wipe down the podium area after you complete your talk.

• Plenary Invited: Time allotted: 40 minute presentation, with 5 minute additional for questions (45 minutes total).
• Invited Speaker: Time allotted: 25 minute presentation, with 5 minute additional for questions (30 minutes total).

Poster Presentation Guidelines

Please note that poster presenters must wear masks when presenting their poster. In addition, FCMN 2022 will provide sanitizing stations in the Poster Session Room (sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing spray) for your use in setting up your poster board.

Printed Poster Guidelines: Authors are responsible for setting up their displays and being present for poster sessions, during breaks, and some of the lunch period. Posters will be displayed throughout the duration of the conference. Each contributed poster paper will be assigned a poster number and allotted a poster board space measuring 46 inch (wide) x 46 inch (high). Your assigned poster number will be at the top of that poster board and push pins will be provided in a cup pinned to your board.

Poster Setup: June 21 starting at 9:00 a.m.
Poster Teardown: June 23 by 3:30 p.m. Please note that we cannot take responsibility for any posters left on the boards at the end of the meeting – any remaining posters will be discarded.

Online Poster Guidelines: We would like to make the posters displayed at the FCMN 2022 available on our Website. Please send a slide format file of your poster for display on the conference website to Erik Secula, erik.secula@nist.gov
